Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Description

As a CFO in our growing startup, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Act as Chief Financial Officer, strategic business partner in the leadership team.
  • Assess, evaluate, and communicate the financial performance of the company’s operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of periodic financial statements.
  • Contribute to the creation of yearly financial objectives aligned with the company’s plan for growth and expansion (including fundraising plans).
  • Interact with the company’s ecosystem of accountants, auditors, investors, customers, and vendors.
  • Establish the company’s financial processes and systems.
  • Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance, CPA, MBA
  • At least 7 years of experience as a CFO of a tech company
  • Strong preference to experience in startup (including forecasting) in a global/international environment
  • Understanding of whole business-cycle, not only the finance niche
  • Experience establishing business models for software products and services
  • Knowledge and experience with tax compliance and statutory reporting,
  • Experience working with external auditors, controls and compliance-related matters.
  • Experience in supporting fundraising processes
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, in both Hebrew and English
